Jacksonville's city council approved funding for EverBank Field upgrades Tuesday night. The council voted 14-2 to authorize enhancements that include $63 million scoreboards, which are expected to be the largest in the world.

markaz's Take: Seriously? If I was a Jags fans I'd be asking the City Council to reconsider and ask that if they want to piss off $63 million on the team that they agree to pay the luxury tax on a bunch of high priced FA's and a new QB.

It actually makes sense. The jags will now be able to show an actual nfl game on the jumbotron for the fans while the jags play

Just what the fans need...a better scoreboard to watch replays of the meltdown & revisiting opponents legal abuse of their team.
