Somehow, Jacksonville kicker Josh Scobee beat out the Patriots' Patrick Chung for AFC special teams player of the week honors. Scobee's 59-yard game-winning field goal, which gave the Jaguars a surprising 31-28 win over divisional rival Indianapolis, was impressive, but the argument can be made that kickers are supposed to kick. Chung blocked a punt that led to a quick New England touchdown and blocked a field goal that was scooped up by teammate Kyle Arrington (after a heads-up play by Jarrad Page to bat the ball forward) and returned for a touchdown. He was also on the field for Brandon Tate's kickoff return touchdown. Rob Ninkovich, who had two interceptions and a sack in Miami, was one of the nominees for AFC defensive player of the week. How the Hell could you not give this to Chung? He was a one man show turning the game around. What idiots vote on this award? Hope everyone of them heckers get hemroids the size of bowling balls. Idiots. Plus if it's even close you give it to a football player, not a freaking kicker.
