Jaguars Offer Free Beers With Tickets To Sunday's Game

The Jacksonville Jaguars are turning to desperate measures to try to avoid a television blackout of their division game this Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. The team just announced on their official Twitter feed a ticket promotion which includes two free beers when you buy a seat to this week’s game.

"2 free drinks for next 2 hrs w/ #INDvsJAX ticket purchase(starting @$45, 21+ for beer). #DrinksOnUs from @BudLight." For a stadium which hosts “The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party,â€￾ this may seem like the next logical step. Are the Jaguars also going to spring for attorneys after the local police department sets up DUI checkpoints after the game?

we have an independent league baseball team in kansas city called the t-bones that runs promotions like this to get people out to their games.

this is really embarassing to the nfl in my opinion. surprised they let it happen.

 

Why don't they just do away with the franchise? Move them to another city, like LA?

 

Not arguing that. Worse thing they did was fire Coughlin. Hell if they really want people to come put stipper poles every 10 yards. People wont care if they are losing or not. Two free beers and boobs...hell yea!!!!

Being drunk is the only way you could possibly enjoy a Jaguars game.

 

They probably just get into a hospitality tent before the game and get two tickets to use on an Anheuser Busch product on draft in that tent.

 

So that's a no on beer, then.

 

I think that is why they said "DrinksOnUs" and not beersonus. False advertising is a touchy thing.
