Jaguars right tackle Eben Britton was back ready to practice for the first time since a he suffered a herniated disc while doing squats. Britton had a minor back surgery in North Carolina to repair it last month. He sat out every preseason game because of it. "I think there's a conditioning aspect and a timing aspect and some rust that needs to be worked through," Del Rio said last week. "He may return to practice but it may not be an immediate return to the lineup on Sundays for us, and so we'll have to work through that as a team, as an offense, and we'll do that." Britton returned, as did tight end Zach Miller, who suffered a knee injury in practice during training camp. Miller did not have a brace or a sleeve on his right knee today.
