Todd Bouman, who hasn't thrown a pass in a regular-season NFL game since 2005, might be thrust into the starting lineup for the Jaguars on Sunday in Kansas City. Starting quarterback David Garrard was at home Wednesday still suffering from a concussion. Backup Trent Edwards was wearing a splint on his badly sprained right thumb and rode a stationary bike at practice. Bouman, in his second stint with the team this year and fifth since 2007, although he's yet to take a snap with them in the regular season, ran the Jaguars' plays in practice Wednesday. Veteran Patrick Ramsey, who also was signed Tuesday, ran the scout-team plays. Source: Florida Times-Union
Bouman is 1-5 in his six career starts.....his only win as the starter came in 2001 against the Tennessee Titans as a member of the Minnesota Vikings.
