Jaguars running back Justin Forsett sprained a toe on his right foot in the first live practice session Aug. 1 and hasn't practiced since, reports ESPN.com. He ran on the side and did some change-of-direction work early this week. "The toe, man, you think it’s so small, but it does a lot," Forsett said. "It’s one of those things that if you don’t take care of it from the beginning then it’s something that’ll linger on throughout the season and we didn’t want that. So we’re just trying to make sure I’m 100 percent or getting close to it for week one." Forsett's roster spot is secure, coach Gus Bradley told the website. In Forsett's absence, Jordan Todman has run for a team-high 163 yards on 20 carries in the preseason. Forsett believes he'll be cleared for the Sept. 8 opener against Kansas City. "It’s just a nagging thing right now," Forsett said. “I don’t know if the pain is going to be completely gone by next week but I can go out there and play right now if needed to." Source: CBS Sports
