Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew said Tuesday on his radio show on SiriusXM that his comments about the Jaguars draft were taken out of context. Jones-Drew said Tuesday that although he'd seen reported that the pick upset him, that wasn't accurate. "No, I said I was shocked," Jones-Drew said. "I said that from the jump. Now it's kind of like all these things are coming up. ... [It's] people taking everything out of context, trying to stir up some controversy. I guess that's what they're supposed to do. I know on this show we just tell it how it is." Jacksonville traded up to take Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert with the 10th overall pick in April's draft. Here were some of his comments Monday on an NFL Network appearance: "Very shocked by it. After talking with a lot of coaches when the lockout was lifted for that one day, they felt like David needed somebody to compete with. ... I know David will win. He's a fighter that's what he does."

Everything is taken out of context with MJD anymore...it's actually getting tiresome. If you want to have a radio show, tell it like it is, stop with the backpedaling every day following your show...
