The Jacksonville Jaguars signed rookie quarterback Todd Boeckman and waived first-year quarterback Paul Smith today. Boeckman was a two-year letterman at Ohio State where he played in 27 games, completing 255 of 402 passes for 3,041 yards and 31 touchdowns and was originally signed by the Jaguars on June 17th and was waived on July 31st. Smith signed with the Jaguars as a rookie free agent in 2008 and spent the majority of the season on the club’s practice squad. Source: Jaguars.com
