The Jaguars made progress today toward getting two more rookies to camp on time by signing third-round cornerback Derek Cox to a four-year contract, in addition to reaching agreement with seventh-rounder Tiquan Underwood. Cox's contracts includes minimum salaries of $310,000, $385,000, $480,000 and $565,000, plus an escalator to $1.3 million in the fourth year that increases the maximum value of the deal .
