The Jacksonville Jaguars have been without starting tight end Marcedes Lewis through the first three games of the season, as he's been dealing with a calf injury that has plagued him since the preseason. Heading into Week 4 against the Colts it appears Lewis is on track to make his 2013 season debut. "It’s much better," Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said about Lewis' calf on Monday. "He continues to do well. We took an MRI again and it just shows scar tissue now, so we’re going to continue the return-to-play protocol and amp that up a little bit more on him and see how he’s doing." While Lewis' biggest asset is in the blocking game up front, the real issues for the Jaguars offensive line has been on the interior where Lewis can't really assist. What Lewis can add however, is a viable receiving threat over the middle of the field to draw the attention of safeties and give both Cecil Shorts III and Ace Sanders, or whatever other receiver is opposite Shorts, more favorable match ups.
