Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison believes the Cleveland Browns should be disciplined by the NFL for how they handled the aftermath of Harrison's helmet-to-helmet hit on Cleveland quarterback Colt McCoy. Harrison practiced Wednesday for the first time since being suspended one game for his collision with McCoy on Dec. 8. Harrison says he understands the hit was illegal but wondered why the Browns let McCoy return to the game so quickly despite the severity of the collision. The 2008 NFL Defensive Player of the Year says if he was suspended, the Browns should also face penalties from the league. Harrison adds he doesn't believe he'll have to change his playing style to be effective and thinks he's done a good job playing within the rules over the last year. Source: Associated Press
Is Harrison that egotistical that he just can't stop tweeting and talking? Now he understands that his hit was illegal but he wants to throw the Browns under the bus because they let McCoy back into the game...worry about your damn self James and the rest will take care of itself. Sheesh he's like some co-workers I used to work with, so busy trying to get others in trouble to cover up their own failings or they figure if I'm in trouble I want company to share the blame...SHUT UP ALREADY...DAMN
You beat me to it Sweets. His personality is seriously getting annoying. This dude is a freaking moron, criticizing a team makes things worse, not better, and makes you seem like a complete dbag. The hecker is so full of himself he just can't stop talking and let it go.
What a heckin' ego maniac. Shut your mouth and play you stupid thug, try not to hit anybody else illegally pr**k.
Making things worse? Because he brought up the health of another player being mistreated basically. I've seen Dallas not let Witten go back in a late game situation when we needed him because of concussion type symptoms, and the next day he remembered everything and thankfully was fine. Colt Mccoy on the other hand can't even remember going back into the game, didn't know how he got home, or where he was... and James Harrison sounds like a complete douchebag? It may not be his team, or any of his business... but he's right, plain and simple. The NFL has cracked down so much on player safety, yet one of its franchises are going to throw a player in harms way further more.
i think the annoying part about harrison's comments that's bugging people is the fact that he's being completely hypocritical considering the result of his illegal hits. is he right about the browns handling of mccoy's injury ? probably. but should he of all people be the one to champion this crusade ? is he really doing it for the right reasons or just suffering from a serious case of diarreha of the mouth once again ?
