New Jaguars defensive end Jason Babin liked what he saw of his first practice with the Jaguars, Vito Stellino of the Florida Times-Union reports. “Just the tempo, the urgency, the way the guys went from drill to drill, how they practice, they way they communicated, the way they ran, it was the way a practice is supposed to be. It was refreshing,†he said. Babin was released by the Eagles earlier in the week. Defensive coordinator Juan Castillo was fired earlier in the season, but the defense got worse. The Eagles have lost seven consecutive games. “It’s been a tough year. We’ve had a lot of issues,’’ he said. “Things are kind of stagnant there. They could ultimately get worse before they better. So being part of something that is about to blossom is definitely an exciting feeling.†Source: The Redzone
well, sure, especially if there is a massive house cleaning like many of us expect. they could be in complete re-build mode by April
So the crapty tempo, lack of urgency, how the Eagles practiced, etc...was/is obviously an issue...Babin being a veteran and leader on that Eagles team...maybe part of the cause?
What a bullcrap thing to say. And you weren't part of the lack of tempo, the care-free attitude, the laziness between drills, how you didn't practice, how you didn't communicate, and the way you didn't run, you weren't a big part of the staleness as a team leader? When playing the Eagles next, be careful, son.
baben got pushed all over the field by the skins in dc and few weeks back. he went from the pro bowl last year to complete crap this year! i expect the eagles will clean house, but they'll keep mccoy and foles i bet.
They will make coaching changes, yes. As far as personnel, not making a ton. But to put Foles in the list of "safe" players over guys like Jackson, Maclin, Cole, Ryan, Cox, Celek, etc is just laughable.
