St. Louis Cardinals' catcher Jason LaRue says he will have to retire after kicks to the head from Cincinnati Reds' pitcher Johnny Cueto during the brawl between the Reds and Cardinals back in August. LaRue told the St. Louis Dispatch, ""When it first happened, I thought it was just another concussion. I felt within a couple days I would be fine. But I didn't feel good. And for a long time, nothing progressed." This is really appalling to me that a young pitcher ends the career of an incredible backup catcher for no reason.
