Never one of my favorite drivers but sure leaves a legacy in Nascar. I remember reading an article a long time ago that if it weren't for the chase he would have one or two more championships to his name. Read an article today that stated his early success is directly responsible for nascar reaching the mainstream, I agree with that.
I didn't like him as a kid but I've grown to really like him now. Kinda sad to think about not seeing him in a car every week. Pretty weird too considering how young he looks, he's been relatively competitive, and how a lot of the top drivers go until they're way older than he is.
