Jeremy Lin will have left knee surgery next week and will miss six weeks, likely ending his amazing breakthrough season. The New York Knicks said Saturday their point guard had an MRI exam this week that revealed a small, chronic meniscus tear. With the regular season ending April 26, the biggest story in basketball this season is probably done regardless of whether the Knicks make the playoffs.

Who cares? Linsanity is a thing of the past. He's just another average player again. I knew that would happen.

the knicks should be alright now that their top players got their wish of a new coach. the only reason Lin stood out is because he was the only guy giving full effort under d'antoni.

Couple this with Amare out for 2-4 weeks and you're probably right.
