DeMarcus Ware insisted he would be back sooner than anticipated. It appears the defensive end is right on schedule, and should be in the lineup when the Dallas Cowboys take on the New Orleans Saints. "I think he is ready," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday on KRLD-FM, per the Dallas Morning News. Source: NFL.com SteveRobWhatever's Take: Cowboys desperately need Ware's presence back on the field. He strained a quad against the Redskins and the defense has suffered in his absence. They will need all their weapons in full force against Drew Brees and the Saints, who are looking to bounce back after an upset loss to the Jets.
we didn't really suffer with him gone. our d-line actually stepped up in a big way. ware being there wouldn't add too much more at this point imho, given he had nagging injuries in addition to the quad that was hampering him. frankly, i'm glad he missed the time to heal up everything else. hopefully he can be the beast we expect him to be now.
