There has been some bad mixed in with the good for Jets quarterback Matt Simms. After completing 33 of 44 passes for 285 yards in a 27-20 win over Philadelphia, he has been fined $7.875 by the league for unsportsmanlike conduct. That, however, can hardly dim the optimism for Simms after he stated his case to be the third-string quarterback behind Geno Smith and Mark Sanchez (or the other way around). Simms told NewJersey.com after the game, "I love being a Jet and I hope to continue to be a Jet." Source: CBSSports
