Tebow’s signature “Tebowing†stance has been trademarked. The paperwork was filed back in April, when two fans also wanted to own the term “Tebowing,†and the rights were finally awarded to Tebow. The Jets backup quarterback is insistent that he is concerned about preserving the stance as a prayer than making money off of it. “I know it was something that was cool for me in the past, but it’s not something I do as ‘Tebowing,’†Tebow said. “It’s something I do that’s prayer for me and then it got hyped up as Tebowing. So I think (it’s) just to control how it’s used as well. I want him to roll up to training camp next year in a gold plated Rolls Royce with a painting of himself on the hood.
