The Jets will play with a 52-man roster at least until Darrelle Revis completes his surgery for a torn ACL, Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger reports. Ryan does not want to put his Pro Bowl cornerback on Injured Reserve just yet. The reason being: He doesn't want to rob Revis, and the team, a chance of him playing in the Super Bowl. "You know what? And I've talked to Darrelle, let's just have him go through surgery," Ryan said. "Let's see what happens when he goes through surgery because there's that 0.0002 percent chance that he could play in the Super Bowl, so why would you take that option away from him?" Ryan said he wouldn't be putting Revis at any risk and would not try and bring him back sooner than he's ready. "Let's just put it this way, my thought is, if you're fortunate enough to make it to that big game and he's fortunate enough to be healthy, I know our fans will want him playing just like I would want him playing." Well, it actually worked for Rod Woodson in '95. He tore his ACL in week 1 and came back to lose in the Super Bowl Sent from my LG-970h using Tapatalk 2
