Jets WR Braylon Edwards Arrested For DWI

New York Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards was arrested on a drunken driving charge early Tuesday morning in New York, the New York Post reported. He was pulled him over on the West Side and found he had double the legal limit of alcohol in his system, police said. Edwards, 27, was arrested at 5:15 a.m. and charged with DWI. Police said they smelled alcohol and Edwards was found to have a 0.16 blood-alcohol level, or double the state's legal limit of 0.08. A passenger was with Edwards but it doesn't appear they were charged. Edwards is currently in police custody, and will be arraigned later today.

When I got my dwi, The cops took me to get blood taking and my content was .22.
I dont drink and drive any more, not even with one beer. Screw that to much money and It couldve ended up much worse.

Either that, or real cops who understand what can happen when buttholes get behind the wheel drunk and don't give a heck if you're a professional athlete.

He just had to do something to draw attention away from their big win this week.

 

If Braylon is already in the substance abuse program, which we do no know due to confidentiality, Roger can suspend him. If not, it's a huge fine from my understanding of the situation.

I just heard on SC that the Jets, and I'm assuming many teams, even have a program in place that lets players call for rides at no cost, like that should even be an issue. What a dumbheck goober he is to still get behind the wheel.
