Jets wide receiver Jeremy Kerley missed practice Monday with what the team said was a concussion, the New York Daily News’ Manish Mehta reported. That makes him unlikely to play in the Jets’ marquee matchup with the New England Patriots on Thursday. Kerley left the Jets’ win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday after being hit in the head by Buccaneers safety Mark Barron — a play during which his helmet came off. But he eventually returned to the game, meaning he passed the required concussion tests. A Jets spokesman also told the Daily News that he passed a post-game concussion test.
