Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes is listed as questionable for Sunday's opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due a lingering foot injury. Holmes suffered a season-ending Lisfranc injury to his left foot last September against the San Francisco 49ers and is still working his way towards a full recovery. Holmes, who did not practice Thursday, was a limited participant on Wednesday and Friday. In addition, defensive end Quinton Coples (ankle) has been ruled out and defensive tackle (back) Kenrick Ellis is questionable. The Jets had already ruled out quarterback Mark Sanchez, who hurt his throwing shoulder in a preseason game against the Giants on Aug. 24, earlier in the week. Source: Sports Network
