Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown said 49ers holdout Michael Crabtree is carelessly passing up precious time for his career in search of a few bucks. Brown, in comments to Sirius XM NFL Radio, said Crabtree's decision to hold out from the 49ers as he pursues a richer rookie contract is "totally ridiculous." "Mr. Crabtree, get your butt in camp," Brown said. "You're going to lose a year of playing football to try to get more money than you can get this year, which you'll never make up?" he told Sirius XM. "And you don't realize that your legacy will be based upon how you perform, not how much money you made." Source: USA Today
Jim Brown has spoken the truth. Craptree, sign your damn contract and PROVE you are worth the amount of money you think you are instead of waiting for the 49ers to cave in and hand you the money you are looking for on a silver platter. What a selfish son of a snitch and he hasn't even played a down in the NFL.
^^^^ this shoud be the motto these dumbasses listen TO but instead they typically listen to their posse & greedy agents.
the forty-niners should go ahead and bite the bullet and give him what he wants. In the mean time Jerry Jones is standing somewhere ready to slide the dagger in the niners back to get him.
:icon_rolleyes::icon_rolleyes: dude you spew more crap than a sewage plant. Crabtree wants top 3 money even though he was picked 10. Why should the 9ers pay that?
You want Crabtree on your team? Go ahead, go get him when he reenters the draft. And good luck with that. :icon_cheesygrin: Jim Brown is str8 money here. On point.
every1 should just shutup about him now. he (crabtree) doesnt want to make a name for himself. and im sure he will drop 2 the second round next year.
I dont get it he can just get more money his 2nd contract whats the big deal with the rookie contract?
I could be wrong and this is just 100% speculation but sometimes I get the feeling maybe he just did not want to be a 49er. I mean I'm sure the money is part of it obviously but maybe he wasn't too enthused about the 49ers either due to the QB situation there. Maybe he was hoping for a better team situation to go with the money. And if the rumors are true that he briefly considered giving in after the 49ers beat the Cardinals in Week 1, maybe there is a little something to my theory. He might have realized OH CRAP NINERS MIGHT BE DECENT. But the money part of the equation was too strong I bet.
THIS is why most fanbases hate us Cowboys fans  Screw Craptree...he can always flip burgers in McDonald's.
this dope needs to take a lesson from desean jackson who clearly was a 1st round talent that slipped to the 2nd but he didn't play this stupid game and got a deal done so he could get into camp and prove he's worth discussing an extension with in his 3rd year so he can get the payday.
