Panthers LB Jon Beason isn't satisfied with the performance of DE Julius Peppers this season and Beason, a third-year player who made his first Pro Bowl last year, plans to talk about it with Peppers, an eight-year veteran. "The pressure is what you want to see ... the intensity," Beason told a Charlotte radio station of motivating Peppers, the NFL's highest-paid player this year. "I need you to be there with me," he said. "I need everything you've got. That's it in a nutshell." And would Peppers listen to a pep talk from a younger player? "Pep is a guy of high character, a guy (who's) disciplined. He respect it when it's for real," Beason told the station. "I think we've got a good relationship. Whatever I say to him, just like whatever he says to me, we take to heart."
