Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post reports when coach Josh McDaniels was asked Tuesday if he would start rookie Tim Tebow at quarterback if the Broncos were mathematically eliminated from the postseason race, McDaniels responded: "I don't know. Not willing to go there. That's not the case right now, so we'll think about that when that happens." Asked if he would consider putting Tebow in some end-of-game situations more in the coming weeks to get him experience, McDaniels offered a maybe. "We haven't had too many situations like that, but there's a lot that could go into it," McDaniels said. "I think each game is different. I think we've had the one game against Kansas City where you felt like there was a situation there, but there are some other things that played into that. "We're not adverse to doing that, we just haven't had many opportunities to do that this year."

Well he's obliterated the team beyond recognition and replaced it with mediocrity. In most circumstances he would most likely get to year three because of his youth, but when you enter with Cutler with a outside combo of Marshall and Royal and end up with Orton and Gaffney, someone has to pay.

So....if the Broncos lose one more game, then Tebow is in, right? :icon_cheesygrin:

dont forget wasting some big time picks on knowshon (always hurt, reach in the draft), Ayers (sucks ass), Demaryius Thomas over dez, tebow over, about 100 other players that would have been better #23rd overall picks, and a first on alphonso smith that ended up being traded away to the lions for a 3rd TE in his second year.

Not to mention Alphonso Smith is wrecking crap. Some team is getting Orton for kind of cheap soon, win.

You managed to point out the ONE thing working right in Denver. Orton, Lloyd, and the passing game is on fire.

To add more insult, neither Cutler nor Marshall are putting up even close to the numbers that their replacements are.

    Well done, sir.

I'll agree with almost everything but Knowshon. Knowshon was coming off the board within 5 picks of Denver's.

  9. you guys are ridiculous you criticize Tebow yet who knows how good he will be.

I agree Mcdaniels has screwed up their team but Tebow was a good pick imho.

too early to judge Moreno imho. He is a great RB when healthy. He had his 1st 100 yard game the other week.

Demaryius sucks such a waste of a pick.

Joe Webb is better QB prospect then Tebow lol, you'd probably be hard pressed to name more then 3 or 4 guys drafted that arent better QB's then Tebow.

why was this question even being asked to Mcdaniels........ ??? orton is one of the few bright spots on the broncos roster ............. the denver media must be even dumber than most because they should be asking mcdaniels about 20 other starting positions before even addressing the QB spot .............

tebow was a terrible pick...at least they lucked out with gettin perrish cox in the 5th, i had him as a fringe 1st round talent

Why because he was a great college player? Its nothing about him from an accuracy, release, ability to read defenses quickly, really just nothing that would lead me to believe he's a 1st round QB, hell i wouldnt have took him in the first 4 rounds. All his appeal is intangible and i think he's a terrific guy but i would have made him an H-Back, but like Crowned said patience is a virtue, you'll see lol

  16. no because he is willing to work his butt off and he has already made a ton of progress.

He is pretty accurate once the ball gets out. He has a reasonably strong arm.

No I think you guys will see. :icon_cheesygrin:
