At 8-0 and boasting the only unbeaten record in the NFL, you’d think the Kansas City Chiefs would be sitting pretty like Cinderella.

The truth is, they could be on the verge of getting exposed as nothing more than one of her ugly stepsisters.

The schedule is definitely going to call the Chiefs out on the carpet we'll find out what they really are with the Colts, 2 against the Broncos and 2 against the Chargers on the upcoming docket...if they come out of that 3-2, even 2-3, they'll be sitting pretty for their playoff run.

Don't think they should look past Buffalo though...the Bills could give them a hard time if not their first loss on the season.

I was looking at the rest of the Chiefs schedule earlier in the week and I think anywhere from 11-5 and 13-3 is very reasonable for them. Buffalo is always a snitch to play in their place. Their game with the Bills today can go either way.

Bills game this game away. If it wasn't for the two defensive TDs then this was a loss and a defense that gave up over 200 yards rushing with an offense who couldn't do much.

yep, the bills absolutely dominated the l.o.s. on both sides of the ball. Some bad passes by Tuel and many dropped catches doomed them.

chiefs defense were tired after 8 games ..and it´s logical, that they allowed so many yards. still they scored 2 TD´s.. the bye week is perfect for the chiefs. they need the rest .

andy reid should use more davis. rotate charles/davis and stop this embarassing play calls to use charles as a WR on 3rd downs ...

    remaining schedulefor the chiefs.

i think Denver will lose vs. NE and maybe 1 game against us. Don´t know about the texans. They looked good against colts.

i see denver with a 13-3 record. what i wanted to say is. division games are fun, so i´m looking forward to watch these games ^^ everything is possible ;)

It is kind of funny that quite a few folks here and in the media bang on the Chiefs because of the schedule they've played. Coming off a 2-14 season who looked at their schedule during preseason and thought they'd be 9-0? Most probably figured 5-4 at best. So kudo's to the Chiefs for winning the games "they should have won".

That said, with the youngest O-Line in the NFL and no real threat of a downfield passing game, the Chiefs are probably going to have to depend on their defense the rest of the way to keep scores in a manageable range and continue to not turn the ball over. And I completely agree with L.Johnson #27 in the use of Charles as a WR. Really?

Will they lose? More than probably, especially against Denver. But the mindset Reid has those players in right now who knows how many, if any, games they'll lose after the bye. I know I would be real positive had they struck a deal to get Tony Gonzales back at Arrowhead.:icon_scratch:

If they make it to the playoffs, who gives a crap how many they lose? To say what the Chiefs/Reid have done is ho-hum is a joke because they've done exactly what they needed to do to be at 9-0.

It's by far the most ho-hum 9-0 I've ever seen.

the chiefs will probably lose a few of their last 7 games but, regardless of their schedule or the fact that they aren't 'blowing anyone out', to go from 2 wins to 12 or 13 or 14 wins the next season is pretty damn impressive.

Funny how everyone praises the Broncos...but then says the Chiefs schedule has been cake...the common opponents are almost identical...and it can be argued that the Chiefs schedule has been tougher with the Saints, Niners and Packers on theirs versus the Ravens, Colts and Redskins on the Broncos.

After their first loss, I totally expect Reid to change this conservative winning formula and go back to thinking he is smarter and more inventive than everyone else.

well, after their bye, when their schedule got more difficult, the Chiefs have gone 2-4.

On the season, against teams with current winning records, the chiefs are now 1-4.

what is killing them is their secondary and lack of offense.
