Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt was pleased with his team's progress in workouts over the past month of what the league calls organized team activities. "Overall, I thought it was a productive month for us," he said. "It's sad to see it come to an end. This is really one of the funnest times of the year for a coach because you're getting to work on things and there's not the pressure of the season or a game coming up. It's a little bit more relaxed atmosphere with your players." Many of the younger players, including the rookies, will stay in town for a few weeks to work with strength and conditioning coach John Lott. Everyone else, including Whisenhunt and his staff, will be off for the next several weeks to recharge for training camp, which will open in late July. "We get a little break," Whisenhunt said. "Right now it's a little bit of analysis of what we did in the spring, do a little bit of work on opponents, especially ones that haven't had changes." Source: Arizona Republic
