Do you think this is a make or break game for kevin kolb? If kevin does well do you think it will effect the eagles resigning mcnabb when his contract is up or does it give kolb more trade value? I personally have not liked him for the little mistakes like fumbled handoffs or the interceptions. I know alot of fans say that he needs to develop and hasent started a game but he has looked awful when he has come in. Another thing i dont really like about him is he doesent really have a really strong arm like donovan does. what are your thoughts?
says the guy who had a team name, I hate mcnabb, play kolb. this is not a career making or breaking game. He was drafted to be the QB of the future and he will eventually, when mcnabb is done, at one point get the entire offseason and preseaon going into week one as our starter before he will be declared a bust or not. coming in as an injury replacement with limited time as practicing #1 is not a fair assessment as him being a true #1.
No it's not make or break. He will be on the team the very least till his rookie contract is up. I have been a critic, but it's true: no quarterback walks on to the field in their first start and dominates. Kolb will be no different.
lol big deal i was frustrated dont take everything seriously. **********Automerged Doublepost********** Thats the thing though mcnabbs and kolbs contracts end at the same time i think.
This isn't a make or break game, but it certainly is an important one for him as far as least how the fans react. He's going to make mistakes, but keeping them to a minimum this week will go a long way to keeping a lot of Eagles fans from constantly ripping into him and being a bit more patient. I'm rooting for him big time to show some flashes of what he might be able to do.
I've seen him play in college, and there was a steep learning curve, and he really excelled after the first half of his first starting season. By the end of the season we were in the bowl games, and the offense was kicking serious butt.
Not a make or break game...if he does really well, he'll get a lot of support. Worse case scenario is he craps it up, Garcia comes in and makes a game of it...then Kolb will have problems...future or not. I'm still not convinced he is the future once McNabb is gone...
Usually you see "potential" but I can't recall seeing any "potential" in any of the games I've seen him play.
**********Automerged Doublepost********** that is actually, a really nice bench. just switch the logo's, freaking 349 dollars tho??? wowww.
