Kevin and Pat Williams finally have their day in court today in Hennepin County as the Vikings' defensive tackles are scheduled to testify publicly for the first time in their 15-month legal fight against the NFL to avoid discipline. The Williamses are expected to recount their use of StarCaps, the tainted diuretic that caused them to fail drug tests in 2008, as they are attempting to prove the NFL violated Minnesota drug-testing laws by suspending them four games. Vikings head coach Brad Childress, whom the Williamses subpoenaed to testify in the case, tentatively is scheduled to take the witness stand Wednesday. Source: Pioneer Press
