Beat reporter Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic writes that Kurt Warner did not give quarterback Matt Leinart a ringing endorsement as the Cardinals' new starter during an interview with Dan Patrick last week. Warner didn't bash Leinart, but admitted that he doesn't know if the former No. 10 overall pick is ready or how he'll fare. "To me, it illustrates exactly how Leinart is viewed in his own locker room," Warner said. Leinart has a lot to prove to both fans and teammates." Source: NBC Sports
Kurt is just preparing Arizona for the shock to the system fans are going to experience once Leinart gets behind center full-time. It's not going to be pretty.
