More than a year and a half removed from playing tackle in the NFL, Kyle Turley is having symptoms that he fears could be leading to Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, Yahoo! Sports reports. CTE is the degenerative neurological condition that, researchers think, contributed to the deaths of former NFL players Andre Waters and Justin Strzelczyk. Turley not only is scared, he also is angry because he feels he did not receive adequate medical care from the teams he played for, and he's considering suing the league and says his case might lead to a class-action lawsuit. I'm sorry but this is a freaking joke. It's not like these guys don't understand this is a contact sport and they risk injury when they play it. They certainly don't complain when their bank accounts sit over 7 digits. He must be out of cash and he expects the game to give him more than it already has. I think the NFL has done a good job of doing what it can to prevent injuries...even going overboard in some cases.
Lol. And the NFL will say 'Turley, how much money did you make while you were in the NFL? How much money would you have made doing anything else? Let's call it even.' Screw this guy and anyone else thinking the NFL owes them anything more than they have already been given because of injuries.
