Former Jet LaDainian Tomlinson believes Santonio Holmes is the same guy who quit on his team last year. "He hasn't changed," Tomlinson said on NFL Network's "First on the Field." "The only thing about it is a new year brings new hope; we all know that as players. But as a player, the one thing you know when you play with a guy that has quit on you, you know that when the times get tough he will quit on you again. That's one thing I do know. That's what I expect as the season goes along." Holmes also said there are players on the Jets who still don't trust Holmes. "It's split down the middle," Tomlinson said. "It depends on what Santonio Holmes does moving forward if they trust him or not. If he comes out and continues to play like this, they won't because they know he will quit." The Jets play the Dolphins on today at Sun Life Stadium, where Holmes fought with his teammates in the final game of last season and was benched. Source: New York Post
Ahh Bruisegate of the AFC Championship 2008. Admittedly it is a different situation, but those in glass houses shouldn't fling rocks.
