The Detroit Lions have appealed the NFL's ruling on their tampering case filed by the Kansas City Chiefs, a decision that cost them a seventh-round pick and had the Lions switch places with the Chiefs in the fifth round. Lions defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham made comments about his interest in former Chiefs safety Jarrad Page. "It was appealed," NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said. "I hope when I get back to my office I can pay some attention to that."
