Lions rookie cornerback Jonte Green or veteran Alphonso Smith will likely start against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. The Lions ruled cornerback Jacob Lacey (concussion) out for Monday's game, while rookie cornerback Bill Bentley (shoulder) is listed as doubtful. Bentley was limited in practices this week, and it is very unlikely he will play. As a result, Green or Smith will start against Chicago. "Going back to rookie mini-camp, Jonte's been on a steady improvement," Lions coach Jim Schwartz said. "He improved in OTAs. He improved in training camp. He's improved in preseason and as the seasons going on. He's got very good size. He's got very good speed. He's stepped up all along the way." Lions defensive tackle Corey Williams (knee) is listed as questionable, while defensive end Cliff Avril (back), safety Louis Delmas (knee), defensive end Ronnell Lewis (eye), tight end Brandon Pettigrew (knee), linebacker Stephen Tulloch (knee) and receiver Titus Young (knee) are probable.
