The Detroit Lions have grabbed wide receiver Marko Mitchell off of waivers after he was released by the Washington Redskins. Mitchell, a seventh-round draft pick from Nevada a year ago by the Redskins, was somewhat of a surprise release considering how productive he was last year. Mitchell has an intriguing combination of size and speed at 6-4, 215 pounds, and he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.36 seconds at the scouting combine, according to John Niyo of the Detroit News.
