Ziggy Ansah, the Lions’ first-round pick, didn’t finish his first practice of training camp after he appeared to roll his ankle, but Lions coach Jim Schwartz said Ansah’s injury is not serious. “He got stepped on out there on one, just sort of normal first-day stuff,†Schwartz said. “He doesn’t have anything that’s significant.†Ansah, who worked mostly with the second-team defense at right end behind Willie Young, was hurt late in practice during an 11-on-11 drill. After he fell to the ground, trainers spent a few minutes looking at his lower left leg. Ansah returned briefly after a special-teams period, but left after a few snaps so trainers could work on his groin area. He tried to hobble back onto the field, but coaches sent him off again.
