Lions Decision To Disclose All Pre-Draft Visits To NFL Teams A Mistake

Discussion in 'Detroit Lions' started by BigBlueBruiser, Apr 3, 2011.

  1. The Lions decision to disclose all the players they've hosted for pre-draft workouts this spring came as a result of a clerical error. Somehow, when the Lions were attempting to send their list of pre-draft visits to the league office, which is required, they ended up emailing the list to every team. So they didn't decide to tell the whole world they had worked out players like Aldon Smith in a noble stab at transparency, but because they accidentally hit "send all."
