Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh said Wednesday he never intended to hurt Indianapolis Colts right tackle Winston Justice or celebrate his concussion in Sunday's game. "Since Sunday, there's been, I mean, tremendous accusations, a lot of things that have been said about me and the particular play that happened between me and Winston Justice," Suh said. "I'm the type of player that would never celebrate anybody being hurt. "I was celebrating about my team playing well. And I've been the guy since the beginning of that game, especially, just excited, elated. You saw me jumping around with Nick (Fairley) and for me, I feel bad that it was something I even had to deal with on Sunday and really, throughout the week." Justice suffered a concussion when Suh blocked him on Don Carey's interception return in the fourth quarter. The Colts, specifically guard Mike McGlynn, accused Suh and teammates of taunting and celebrating the hit on Justice. Suh said he was just happy about the defense getting a turnover. "Celebrating the play," he said. "We got the ball, I'm running off to the sideline. Corey (Williams is) grabbing me, we're hopefully about to win the game, we're up 12 points, hopefully offense goes and scores and we're up even more. I'm facing the total opposite way. I don't know what's going on with the guy." Suh eventually found out about Justice's concussion and wished him well in his recovery. "One thing I would like to say," Suh said, "if he did receive a concussion, I hope he heals back up real fast and is back on the football field." Source: Indianapolis Star
Yep. Same guy who claims he was "losing his balance" and that's why he stomped on a GB player last year and there was no intent when he kicked Schaub a few weeks back.
