Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh has released the following statement regarding his actions on Thursday. "In the past few hours, I have had time to reflect on yesterday’s game and I want to sincerely apologize for letting my teammates down, the organization, and especially to my fans who look to me for positive inspiration," said Suh. "Playing professional sports is not a game. It is a profession with great responsibility, and where performance on and off the field should never be compromised. It requires a calm and determined demeanor, which cannot be derailed by the game, referee calls, fans or other players. I want to reiterate my commitment to working to become a better player, and professional — on and off the field. My reaction on Thursday was unacceptable. I made a mistake, and have learned from it. I hope to direct the focus back to the task at hand — by winning." Source: Mac's Football Blog
Absolutely. Someone (Schwartz) probably stomped him and said get your crap together son. His actions were dirty and uncalled for but I can't help but think he's getting a "dirty player rep" because of all the flags and fines...however, most of us thought a lot of those penalties and fines were complete bull crap. This just confirmed "the dirty" tag to those who already assumed he was that type of player. He's been a pretty active and good dude in the Detroit community from what I've heard...no?
He's a good guy off the field I think. Never heard anything about character issues at Nebraska. Idk what his deal is now though. I was a huge supporter of him before. I thought he was just an extremely physical and mean player, which I loved. But there's a line between physical and dirty, and now he's crossed it. I can't support a guy who stomps on another player. That's pathetic. This statement is BS, too. You can't spend 2 days saying you did nothing wrong and lost your balance then come out ith this. I would bet he never even saw this before it was released.
What a dumb butt this fool is...I cant cheer for an idiot like that any more...this fool has problems.
