Lions' new head coach Jim Schwartz has been pleased with second-year offensive tackle Gosder Cherilus. Schwartz said, "He is still working on his technique, he is still a young player, he has still got a long way to go, but we are seeing a lot of things we like from him." Cherilus was a first-round draft pick but failed to make an impact as a rookie. He could develop into a rock-solid starting tackle, and it looks like he is headed in the right direction.
