Reggie Bush remains a compelling story, particularly as he nears 30. Bush, 28, has seven NFL seasons under his belt. He's had a good career, but not a great one. He knows this. And he thinks he's capable of more. "Er, I've enjoyed it, but I would say that it's been OK," Bush said. "I haven't accomplished I think half of what I set out to. So I still feel like I have a lot to give to this game and I have a lot left to prove. So I'm still going. And I don't feel old. I still feel very young and my body hasn't taken a ton of carries over these seven years." Source: Detroit Free Press
actually, he did better as an every-down back than i thought he would. i was expecting nothing out of the guy
I see Bell as the between the tackles guy there, I think you're right they're expecting Bush to be more of a receiving option than an every down back.
I always thought he would be a better receiver than running back. The way he was used in NO was perfect. Coming out the backfield and lined up as a slot is using him to his best ability. If we used him like the Dolphins did during his whole career he would be out of the league by now. I always will remember this hit.
