Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports the Detroit Lions have re-signed veteran linebacker Vinny Ciurciu. Linebacker Spencer Havner has been "Waived/Injured". If Havner clears waivers, he'll be placed on injured reserve. An undrafted free agent out of Boston College, Ciurciu (6-0, 240) has 105 tackles and two passes defensed during his seven-year NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers, Minnesota Vikings, and Lions, who he signed with last October, totaling 5 tackles on special teams in 9 games. 67 of Ciurciu's tackles have come on special teams.
