Lions Release RB Keiland Williams, Plan To Re-Sign CB Alphonso Smith

    The Lions released running back Keiland Williams Thursday in order to sign cornerback Alphonso Smith. Williams was buried at the bottom of the Lions' depth chart with Kevin Smith. He managed just two carries and two catches in five games.
