The Detroit Lions officially announced the signing for former Army player Caleb Campbell on Friday. Campbell, drafted by the team in the seventh round in 2007, was not able to join the Lions for training camp that season when the Army reversed a policy that would have allowed him to play football professionally. With his commitment to the Army set to expire this summer, Campbell is getting a second chance at an NFL career.
