The Detroit Lions signed veteran NFL safety Chris Hope. Hope started four games and played in every game last season for the Atlanta Falcons, recording 26 tackles. He previously started for the Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers. A former Florida State standout, he has registered 761 career tackles with four sacks, 20 interceptions and four forced fumbles. The Lions created a roster spot for Hope by terminating the contract of former Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Robiskie. Source: Scout.com
