The Detroit Lions will host free-agent wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey on Wednesday, according to the Detroit Free Press, the former 2009 first-round draft pick of the Raiders spent Monday night and Tuesday in Indianapolis. Both teams are looking for a deep threat -- a role the speedy Heyward-Bey can certainly fill. The Lions could use an outside receiver to play opposite Calvin Johnson after the team's messy breakup with Titus Young. Heyward-Bey, 26, has spent the entirety of his four-year career in Oakland. His best season came in 2011, when he caught 64 passes for 975 yards, though his overall production dipped last season, he did catch a career high five touchdown passes. Source: CBSSports
