The Lions will open the season on the road for the fourth straight season, against Chicago on Sunday, Sept. 12, according to an NFL source. After the opener, the Lions will play at home against Philadelphia on Sunday, Sept. 19 before going on the road to play Minnesota (Sept. 26) and Green Bay (Oct. 3), and they will host New England on Thanksgiving day.
