John Niyo of the Detroit News is reporting on his Twitter page that free agent DE Jared DeVries will re-sign with Lions on Monday to a one year, $1.7 million deal. The deal is the same value as final year on his old deal according to Niyo. DeVries, who will be 34 in June, missed the 2009 season with a torn Achilles tendon and was cut by the Lions on Feb. 23, with the expressed desire to re-sign him. Source: John Niyo, Twitter.com
