The ex-security director of the New Orleans Saints, alleging in a lawsuit that the team tried to cover up theft and abuse of pain-killing drugs, recorded some of the conversations that appear in transcript form in the suit, according to his lawyer. Attorney Donald Hyatt II filed the suit last Friday in Louisiana's Jefferson Parish on behalf of Geoffrey Santini, who resigned his post with the Saints last August. The suit quotes conversations alleged to have occurred last May and June between Santini and two members of the team's athletic training staff, with a footnote in the suit says the quotations are based on "source recordings or notes" of conversations between the athletic trainers and Santini, also a former FBI agent.
