What choice does he have at this point? Who's gonna sign him for this year knowing he's likely gonna do time next year?
The DA said Burress will serve jail time either by plea or by trial. Since when does a DA decide if a defendant goes to jail if he goes to trial. He may say that any plea will lead to jail time, but its a juries job to decide that if this goes to trial. This DA has a hot head and this may come back to haunt him after Burress testifies in front of the grand jury
